The Indian Vacuum Society offers various types of memberships to individuals and the Indian Vacuum
industry.

Life Member: Member shall be entitled for life to the rights and privileges of the society, enrolled by the
Committee, on application and shall be a Graduate / Diploma holder, a Scientist, an Engineer, a Teacher,
an Executive or a Writer in Scientific, Technical or Industrial Field involving the aims of the Society, who
has been active in his field and demonstrated his/her competence. (Please click here for applying for

Corporate Member: Corporate Member shall be a registered Commercial or Industrial undertaking
(Indian or Foreign), Department of Central or State Government, a Local Body, an Institution or a
Recognized statutory body, working or developing instruments in the area of Vacuum Technology and
allied fields, duly enrolled by the Committee on application and valid for 10 years from the date of
enrolment.
