Dear Readers,
It is heartening to note that election subcommittee of IVS has conducted IVS election for the executive committee for the period 2004-2007 in time and declared the results The results are being published in this issue. The new executive committee will take over the charge after the annual general body meeting of IVS and a new editorial committee for IVS bulletin will also be formed shorliy We wish all new executive committee members and members of new editorial committee all the best and extend good wishes lor fruitful and successful term.
In the current issue of bulletin we are publishing three articles on different topics. I hope readers will enjoy the. contents of these new articles, which are very important, informative and interesting from the point of application.
The first article deals with Vaccum Reconditioning of Cryo-genie Dewars. This article describes some of the procedures adopted for reconditioning of dewars and the successful revival of many of them at Low Temperature Facility al Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai for storage of Liquid Nitrogen and Liquid He-lium.
Second article deals with preparation of Bias Magnetron Sput-tered Indium oxide Films giving details about their structural and electrical properties, which are very important for understanding the intricacies of their applications.
Third article from Central Electronics &. Engineering Research Institute, Pilani (Rajasthan) deals with Development of Graphite Collector Elecirodes for High Efficiency space Traveling Wave Tubes Efficiencies between the collectors of copper and graphite elec trodes have been compared through simulation. The engineering drawings of the parts and the complete assembly have been made. A sequence of assembly has also been finalized.
A brief report on a very successfully conducted One-day Work-shop on Helium Leak Detection Technique organized by IVS at AERB Auditorium. Anushaktinagar on March 20. 2004 is also in-cluded in this bulletin.
